Human Taco from A Ditchin' Time Quilts
Kevin became a human taco last night. It was bad that he was in pain but quite comical that he had to be carried out of our house in an orange plastic sheet. The fireman were called because I had to get him the ER and I could not carry him myself. He could not stand and he could not walk or sit. There was no way I was doing it myself. The fireman said don't worry, we will carry him out of the house and then place him on a stretcher. They showed Kevin the orange sheet and ... -

Dale's Tail...please vote! from A Ditchin' Time Quilts
This is my Golden Retriever named DaleHis coat is gorgeous! During the summer we trim him because he likes to swim in the river behind our house daily. Last summer, I spent a couple of hundreds dollars taking him to the groomer for a trim. This year I decided to do it myself. I definately did it too short and I am no pro, but it will grow and in the next few weeks it will be just like the groomer did it. Take a look at the results.

This is my mom's new bathroom. This is the house I grew up in and it has to be about 43 years old. She did a great job remodeling and redecorating! Paul moves into his Apartment from A Ditchin' Time Quilts
Eutaw Place in Bolton Hill, Baltimore near MICAThis is my son's new apartment in Baltimore. Yesterday he moved into an apartment on the 4th floor of this huge brownstone in Bolton Hill. He will be starting his Sophmore year at MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art) and there are not enough dorms for the 2000 students that attend the school. They have a lottery system for the upper classman but gaurantee the Freshman a dorm room. With this in mind we had to find off campus housing for him within walking distance. This is only 3 blocks away ... -
Wednesday Weigh-In Week 3 from A Ditchin' Time Quilts
Week 3This week I am posting a day early. My son and I are leaving now for his college orientation which is all day on Wednesday at WVU. The program starts early and I am not sure if I will be able to post from WVU. Last week I did not lose any weight! I lost inches and I feel thinner but the scale did not show any loss. The flower is simply gathered fabric fringed on the edge and secured with a covered buttonShopping BagThis is my new bag made from my mom's old bed skirt. She is in the process of redecorating her bathroom and bedroom. I made her the YoYo quilt to go into her bathroom but she also had this bedskirt that she didn't want anymore. It has yards and yards of fabric because it was a queen bed. I turned this bedskirt into a shopping bag and I just love it. It was a little big at first but when ... -
