Bradie-siggy-jazzy from A Quilty Kind of Girl
Hello there!
My name is Bradie (AKA A Quilty Kind of Girl) and today’s post is a little about me. I spend a lot of time talking about quilting, and fabrics, and gadgets, so I thought I would switch it up a little. I am a busy, busy Mom to eight beautiful children, and have just found out that number nine is on the way. (and before you ask, YES this will be the last one. For sure. like permanent for sure.) We have five daughters and three sons, the oldest of which is 15, the youngest is 14 ... -
The finished fused quilt. from A Quilty Kind of Girl
So What is Misty Fuse? you ask….
“Mistyfuse®
Use paper-less Mistyfuse® for all weights of fabric from velvets and cottons to delicate tulles and organzas. It’s a dream to work with—it handles well, is incredibly sheer, doesn’t add bulk to your fused piece and bonds firmly once cooled. And since there is no added adhesive, it will never gum up your scissors or quilting needles. Each package comes with simple instructions for easy fusing with no waste. Mistyfuse White is perfect for fusing with any fabric.”
(shhhhh. I stole that straight from the website.

Circle of Life from A Quilty Kind of Girl
It’s getting sooooo close now!
I have officially finished all the main sections. Now I have to piece the New York Beauty arches to the mini star centers, but there is some hand piecing which takes much longer than I want it to. Fingers crossed that it will be done for next Monday when Matty leaves for MQX!! (He is taking the top with him for a “How am I suppose to quilt this?” Class with the one, and only Karen McT.)
What do you think?
Quilty Hugs,
Bradie**EDIT: For those of you wanting to know ...
