What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

Maryellen from Mary Mac’s blog has a lot of people around her suffering or having suffered from breast cancer. She also has her adventure with another type of cancer. She knows…….and has been trying every day, every moment to overcome it. She went through therapies during the pandemic, that means that she was alone there and now she suggests ways someone who is willing can help the patients. You may see the quilt she made here. Today is my turn for this blog hop. I have already posted about it here. On top of the project we had to make, as I told you on my previous post, we had to talk a little bit about our experience on this issue.

What a challenge this month! We had to work with Aurifil thread that we got in our last box sent to us by Island Batik. Take a look at the description:

I am so sorry for this happy blog post. I am sorry especially towards all Greeks, who suffer from these terrible wildfires happening in my country. But I have to post about it because it is part of my obligations as an Island Batik Ambassador.

Λυπάμαι πολύ που κάνω αυτή την χαρούμενη ανάρτηση. Κυρίως απέναντι στους Ελληνες φίλους που με διαβάζουν. I am so sorry for this happy blog post. I am sorry especially towards all Greeks, who suffer from these terrible wildfires happening in my country. But I have to post about it because it is part of my obligations as an Island Batik Ambassador.

Λυπάμαι πολύ που κάνω αυτή την χαρούμενη ανάρτηση. Κυρίως απέναντι στους Ελληνες φίλους που με διαβάζουν. Η χώρα καίγεται ακόμα συμπληρώνοντας σχεδόν μια εβδομάδα κι εγώ πρέπει να κάνω αυτή την ανάρτηση μια και είναι μέρος της υποχρέωσής μου προς την εταιρεία Island Batik, της οποίας είμαι Πρέσβειρα.

It is this time of the year that we, 25 Island Batik Ambassadors, are very happy. I personally was more happy than ever. It was the first time that I got my boxes so fast and without any issues neither costs. I thank you so much my friends at IB.

Especially the second one that travelled firstly to Catar and then came to Athens. Thank God safely and without Customs fees!!!!! It was a great pleasure to see that there was the making of a bag on this semester’s schedule. We love a lot the bag making in Greece. And I love especially Annie’s Unrein patterns. When I was asked about the pattern I wanted to make, I chose this bag that actually is not a bag, but a whole suitcase. I had made this bag in the past several times, but I wanted to see the most of the materials that Annie has in her shop. Therefore I asked for this pattern, that proved to be very wise ...
