Today started out pretty good. I was up and playing my games. Then I had to do some laundry and clean up a bit. Not that much to clean, but when you have a cat, it's sometimes more often.
I worked on getting my TAST done. Didn't get it done, but worked on it.
I'm up to week 32. So, I have a ways to go to get this done. I'm just playing with it. I do like learning new techniques. I have no clue what I will do with it when it's done, but ...
read moreThis morning we headed to Olympia for my pulmonary appointment. We have a plan. Now it has a name to it. I have to do my breathing tests for the next year, every 6 months. Let's hope it helps figure out what is up. I know it's "UIP" but there are 5 possibilities to what one it is. Then it was time to go get blood tests for both of us.
We stopped at Wendy's on the way home for lunch. Then Patrick crash. He napped pretty much the rest of the day.
I worked on my ...
read moreThis morning I was out the door by 7:30 am. I was at Dan's house at 8:05 am and heading back to Centralia. He had oral surgery today. I found out I couldn't leave the parking lot. So, for the next hour and a half, I was sitting in the car working on my embroidery.
I decided to work on the stem instead of doing flowers first. I wanted to get back to the stem and work my way to the flowers.
Once I got the second stem work next to the first, I needed to ...
read moreToday Patrick was out the door before I was up. He went golfing again today. I enjoyed some time to myself before starting up with beading. I washed and put the quilt away. Keeping it out of Katt's eyes, because my quilts tend to disappear. lol
I then sat down to bead.
I was able to get 5 more rows done. It's now at 268/580 rows done. I'm getting to the point of starting the mouth. He's coming along nicely. I can't wait to start on the deer!
Patrick came home and I got ...
read moreThis morning I was up earlier than I have been getting up. Not to worry. I played a few games and listened to the end of my book.
Then when Patrick was up and ready to go, we headed over to Safeway. Before we left, I needed to get the bread ready to raise.
Once that was done we left. We did a little grocery shopping, and I was surprised at how much we spent. Didn't have enough coupons today! Oh, well. Got back home and put everything away.
Then it was time to get the laundry started - and ...
read moreI hope that 2021 has been good to you so far. I've been working away at this year's first challenge of Project Quilting: Illuminating (yellow) + Ultimate Gray. These are the Pantone colours of the year for 2021. I guess just having grey as the colour of the year could have been dull, so these are lovely colours together.
Project Quilting Challenge 12-1
Today I was doing laundry. Patrick had a dental appointment, so I had 5 phone calls while he was gone. Then Patrick was back.
We watched a couple Disney shows. I played games. I was going to do some beading, but just couldn't get there.
After the day went by without doing much, I decided to work on my "TAST" (Try a Stitch Tuesday).
The chain stitch is from last week, the other one is this week. Fly Stitch is what this one is.
I decided to take out the stitches above. Then I wanted to do a better ...
