I have been stitching little by little on a few projects. 

I have been continuing to work of my two crochet projects.

Here I am working on the the first of the two blocks for my

I am still deciding on the colors.  So far I am using only the two pinks and the two grays.  The sample afghan is stitched in only three colors so I will be changing up the color order of the squares in the layout.

I love scrappy quilts and treasure all my fabric scraps.

One of the ways I used to increase my scraps when I was a new quilter was to swap small pieces of fabric with other quilters online. Very often I ran the swap so I so I could collect many different scraps. The blue and white snowflake and snowman fabric that I am using for my QATW Winter Mystery Quilt were collected in such a swap.  Friends sent the 10" squares of fabric to me and I swapped and sent their new ...

Welcome to Week 2 of 2022! 

I found my fabric for my Pantone Color of the Year 2022 project! 

It turned out that last year I pulled it out of my big closet and stashed it in a cube in the storage unit right near my sewing machine.  I have wanted to make this for a long time.  The fabric is probably about ten years old.

I started Stitch Sew & Show ~ Week 1 here in 2021.

By December I was questioning whether I was going to continue in 2022.

After thinking it over and realizing that I made some very creative and kind new friends last year and that my little online sewing circle was growing and has given  me many smiles and much inspiration.
