read moreWell, here are the 3 new projects that have been started. It has been great working on UFO's, but this gal needed something new in her life!
First, another 2" x 4" finished size block. This is for a birthday gift in November. Need to get cracking on this one.

Everywhere! Last week I wasn’t much in the mood to sew. When I went into my sewing closet, I followed a squirrel and emptied most of the fabric and some other goodies out! Sorting and folding for several hours. I now have this basket of goodies to cut into scraps. Some day soon I’ll get out my studio cutter and reduce the pile to squares and strips.
The closet looks so good now. I could not bring myself to take a before pick. Such a coward!
read moreEven in December, there is something going on in the garden. The plants in the sunroom continue to do well, and I am hopeful that they survive the winter. Recently, I uncovered my amaryllis and brought it into the kitchen. I gave it some water, and hope it will wake up soon and produce another gorgeous flower. If it does, it will be the eighth year it has bloomed. It is green on the bulb, surely a good sign.
