Earlier today we released our “Piece of My Heart” collection for The Art of Home Club!  This month we are focusing on small projects! Valentine’s Day is a short “season,” but pillows, small mats and wall hangings are a wonderful way to quickly & easily brighten up your space and celebrate the season. What could be easier than adding a few adorable pillows to chairs, sofas and beds, and then simply putting them away at the end of February??

We’ve just released our latest pattern collection for The Art of Home Club, called Bushels of Sunshine! With it, we’ll be making a quilt and a wall hanging, plus a watermelon themed pin cushion!

There are 5 applique and hand embroidery patterns, each with a different flower, container, and fruit.

We are also making a watermelon pin cushion (because you can NEVER have too many pin cushions!!) For the seeds, you can embroider them, paint them on, or use small black buttons.

We’ve just released our latest pattern collection for The Art of Home Club, called Holidays with a Twist! With it, we’ll be making a table runner and wall hanging quilt with “present” blocks! How cute!

And as always, there are LOTS of options! There are SEVEN different applique and hand embroidery patterns! We even have tutorials for crayon tinting (like you see in the joy, wreath, and mitten blocks below.) Aren’t they pretty?

We’re calling this collection “Holidays with a Twist” because once we make the “present” blocks, we’ll add some triangles to the sides ...

I have really enjoyed sharing my favorite recipes with you during our month-long heart-warming recipes + heart-warming project! Recipes are so much fun – they really are like sewing projects – you get all the required items together, put love and time into it…and the result is certainly special. This is why we coupled these recipes with our brand new Home in my Heart kit!

Earlier today we released the final instructions for our “Happy Homes” Collection for The Art of Home Club!  Don’t you love this quilt with the adorable house blocks! This was the final part of our 2022 Mystery Sew Along – we’ve been working on this project since March 2022 with some of the instructions released every month, and this month we’re putting the finishing touches on this fun collection which celebrates all of the seasons!

Yesterday, Queen Elizabeth II passed away at the age of 96, after 70 years of service to her country. Being American, I don’t totally understand a monarchy, but I know she was beloved by so many around the world, and my late British mother-in-law certainly loved her. After a 70 year reign, there aren’t many who recall a world without her as the reigning monarch of the United Kingdom.
