I Don’t Think Most Of You Knew About All The Races I Ran from Quilts + Color

 

Beach Run and Stitch and Share


No matter what the weather during the week during the seminar on Friday at 4:30 the rain would stop, the sun would shine and hundreds of seminar participants were on the beach for a one mile run. All those who completed the race would be rewarded with T shirts with the Jinny Beyer Seminar logo in the "Color of the Year".

9 patch top from Making A Lather

And I have a top. I told my daughter that I was almost done, and, then, she planned on staying up all night to beat me. I'm too old for that nonsense, so, I got up early, finished, and texted her at 9:30 AM that I was done. There is two hours difference so she was still in bed. About 11:30 AM my time, she texted she was done too.  I win by time difference. I talked about racing my daughter using 2 1/2 inch strips here.

I talked about racing my daughter using 2 1/2 inch strips here.  I threw in a couple of ringers. just to get rid of them. If they don't hide well with the others, I may have to replace them. My daughter just bought a longarm, maybe she has become distracted, And I can get this done before she notices.
