I love birds and especially the dynamic of how they relate to each other. I have seen them nurture the sick and disenfranchised birds of the flock and I have seen them assert their status on other birds to be the first to steal the seed I leave in the bird feeder. The feisty rainbow lorikeet rules the bird feeder and makes the crows, parrots, cockatoos and bush turkeys cower with fear.
