Our four days in Christchurch seeing my son Michael had come to an end, so then it was time to hitch the caravan up to the car and travel slowly back up to Picton to catch the ferry again.  We had nearly a week to do this, so we planned several stops along the way.

Ha! Ain’t that the truth?! Just for something different though, it’s the good kind of Lunarcy scheduled today – we are moving on to the next block of the Lunarcy quilt. As I was trying to work out where I should draw colour inspiration for today’s post from, nature volunteered. This was tonight’s sunset, as seen from our back patio. The colours were brief, but some of the very best we’ve had since we moved here.

No Sewing, but Plenty of Planning

Too busy to sew here… which is Not Good, but I keep telling myself it is only for a season. And hopefully that season is nearly over….. just like the Year of the Pig. The Year of the Rat starts soon, on the 25th January 2020. Which also just happens to be “moving week” for us.
