 80%! The quilt along is long finish and I'm lagging behind but at least I'm still behind!! 

I made block #20 this last week, after weeks not turning my machine on. I was hoping to make more than one block but a migraine on Friday decided otherwise. So here it is block 20:

And with block 20, I can finish row 4! 5 more blocks and I'll have the top finished.

With the lack of sewing time lately I have fallen behind quite badly of the various quilt-along. 

Last month, I only made one block for Modern City Scape, block #18. I also started on block #19 but didn't finish it.

I have attached all 3 blocks of Row #4 together. I had completed blocks #16 & 17 in May but never got around to post them here. I am still a few blocks behind but hopefully I will eventually catch up!

I was asked to be a pattern tester for Rachel at Kohatu Patterns last week.  She is releasing a new pattern on May 10th in time for Mother's Day!

Since Rachel gives 2 different sizes for her Daisy pattern, I decided to make a Daisy in both sizes.  (Rachel also tells you how to make other sizes, too).

I picked a 'Sunset' background for the 12"x18" block.

Everywhere I go I’m seeing the cutest bunnies for Easter decorating. I found these at Walmart…cute and affordable.

For my front door, I made these moss bunny beauties from Dollar Tree items…

They were amazingly fun and easy to construct. I found this idea on Pinterest.

This is my fave paper pieced bunny block pattern… BUNNY WITH FLOWERS.

I’ve used this block in lots of projects. I love animals with flowers on their heads.

 I was planning/hoping to catch up on blocks #6 & #7 before we went on holidays but I ended making all the pieces but not managing to assemble them all.

I managed to finish them both just after we came back from holidays and to sew them together.

I also got started on block #8 but it is not complete yet.  Still need to get going on block#9 which was released this week.

Wow il just caught up with the Modern City Scape blocks as the next one is coming out. 

I had finished block #4 last week and added it to the first 3

And I finished block #5 on Saturday 

But when I prepared to join block 5 to the first 4 blocks I noticed I hadn't assembled block 5 correctly, another one! The panel on the right should have been on the left....

And looking more closely, I noticed the same mistake in block 4 plus the bottom right courber had been sewn upside down....

So there has been ...

People are much more relaxed about getting Zoom links, but seriously? Certain people need to relax or STOP making a nuisance of themselves, and if they read my blog -- they know who they are. It's FREAKING ANNOYING! 

Some instructors will send out the Zoom link several days before the class. People are comforted to know they have the link and won't miss the class. I do NOT send the link out several days in advance because many people lose them, which results in more emails. People are WAY BETTER than they used to be, so issues are rare ...

Yes, I know, this is yet another project that I start this year... anyway, I bought the pattern so better make the quilt and use my stash, right?

There was a lot of paper cutting (50+ pages of patterns!) and some careful colour/fabric planning before I cut start sewing but now the fun part has started!
