Mending from Becca's Crazy Projects


This is something of a joke at my house. Because I will absolutely fix things, and hem things.
The belt loops on my partners pats had worn through. I sliced up a some denim from another pair of pants and pulled out the belt loop attachments for my Baby Lock. After about thirty minutes of looking for the directions and setting up the machine (it doesn't take long unless you don't use all the features very often. I ended up using the 3/4" attachment.  
This attachment makes quick work of making the belt loop pieces.

I've been on mental vacation for the past couple of days, because I just wrapped up a couple of big projects.  So I started procrastinating the next big thing on my list by cleaning up my studio and selected portions of my home.

Bullet Journal from Becca's Crazy Projects

I had a crazy idea I should start a bullet journal. I'm not sure why. I ordered some notebooks, some stencils, and watched a bunch of YouTube videos on the subject. Creating a stitcher's journal with paper and fabric from Quilting & Learning

I'm back to making hand-stitched projects based on our latest workshop at TextileArtist.org's 2020 Stitch Club. This week's teacher is Ali Ferguson who showed us how to make a stitcher's sketchbook or journal with paper, and then to cover and embellish it with fabrics.
