Maine Mills from Humble Quilts

This cool old mill was in Brunswick, Maine. Inside was a huge antique mall!

I did see this yo-yo quilt.

Is this the side you show? I've never made one and never really thought about it.

I love the fabric (including that army green blanket color!) in this log cabin.

Some of the quilts I'll show here are made by her, some are antique and some antique blocks she has completed. She shared her antique block challenge with me, but I'll save that for our challenge reveal.

Cute idea for an antique block challenge.

Paula has me looking ...

When I arrived in Maine 16 years ago today, to move into our house in Camden (we moved from there to neighboring hope in 2011), I did not know that after 46 years of wandering the globe and living on four continents, I had finally found what I always wanted: HOME!

After the storm, just a couple of days ago, from our front porch

Maine has become my muse and my soul’s home. Within two years, I made this quilt which flowed out of me effortlessly. In such a short time, I had become Maine’s and Maine had ...
