Why sewing on Zoom is better than inperson from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!

OH -- Carla made a good point in her comment. Clutter in her house resulted from gifts people had given her in the past. And isn't that the truth! People think something is so cute and appropriate for you, or they just feel compelled to buy you a gift. The clutter is now gone in her house, and the new rule is NO GIFTS, please! Can you imagine the home of a school teacher?

Working through fatigue from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!

I survived the day, but not without a couple of laughs. I had been texting one of my colleagues in the morning, and we were both saying that we didn't want to talk to anyone, especially each other! Then my SIL, who doesn't live close but is here because MIL had her second knee done, stopped by, and guess what? I had to talk!

Update on Plants and Gardens from Quiltnotes All Blogs


Eggplant starting to blossom
 

Tomatoes are getting very large. A few blossoms here and there. In the foreground the yellow squash is really taking off.

The Honey Fig tree is doing very well. Next week I will remove more grass and add mulch.


This is a pine tree seedling David got from Lowes. They were giving them away. The tree stump it's sitting atop was a dead pine tree that had to be removed.


The bougainvillea is really doing well. You can't see but there are several bright pink flowers on one stem.
