You need space to bind a quilt from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!

I thought about the stride thing yesterday with my KMs, and it's NOT the stride. I did measure that way back when I got a FitBit. I tried to verify it last night, but do you think I could find that in the app? Nope!

The big issue is the translation from my FitBit records to the data on the Virtual Challenge site. It's sporadic, and I have no idea what's happening, but have a look and see what I mean.

The data from the Virtual Challenge website for the last two days

For comparison, my FitBit ...

Everything's Rosy... from From the Strawberry Patch...

... or at least now it is! Think of this post as a cautionary tale. I've been working on blocks for the current BOM that I'm attending at my LQS; the pattern is Lady's Scrap Basket by Bits and Pieces. As you can see, I'm doing mine all in shades of red. While joining together some of the blocks into units the other day I noticed some ugly brown marks showing up on the background fabric.A quick

A first world problem from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!

There are a lot of issues in the world. The biggest one right now is that the ENTIRE world is working its way through the pandemic. A lot of people are struggling with the stay-at-home order. It's a major inconvenience, to be sure, but it's not a hardship. I am extremely fortunate to live in a country where we have a pretty darn high standard of living and freedoms. Many of us have not lived through any kind of hardship. I wonder how society would cope if we actually suffered a major hardship?

I'm going to have ...

Wildlife sightings from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!

It was a glorious day yesterday! I accomplished a lot, saw a lot, and well - just a great day!!

Often, when I go for a walk, I take my phone. Not because of the social media, which I'm hardly on these days, and I don't miss it a single bit, not because someone might text me or call me - I rarely get messages, unless it's from M who wants to know what's happening with Little Bear. Nope - I take my phone because it has a fantastic camera on it.

I stopped to take a picture of ...

Time marches on from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!

Have you noticed a difference when you wake up in the morning? Oh yes - it's not nearly as light as it used to be. Well, if you get up as early as I do, that is. But for the night owls, you'll notice the same thing in the evening. I was reading outside last night, and it got too dark to read before I was tired. NOOOOOOO

And what's with the temperature? It's positively chilly this morning, and just two days ago, we were in a heatwave! It's weird. I'm not complaining in the ...
