Seaside Quilt from A Little Bit Biased

 It's Friday, December 23rd, 2022.
Two days until Christmas.
This month I've hosted two family parties,
bought, wrapped, and delivered all the neighbor/friend gifts,
purchased and wrapped a good portion of our family's gifts,
ate my weight in toffee, made two batches of cinnamon rolls,
made two batches of caramels (both of which ended up in the trash, sadly),
had a girls' night out/favorite things exchange with my besties,
did two puzzles, and lots, lots more!  It's been a great month overall.

Today, I have been ...

Crowning Glory Quilt from A Little Bit Biased

Today I want to share one of my favorite
quilts that I made this year!  I finished it a few months ago
but just recently got some pictures of it.

The pattern is called Crowning Glory and it's in my book,
Quilt the Rainbow, available HERE.  The original one
was made in all yellow fabrics from my stash.

I really love the yellow one.  But the darker version
just speaks to me!  I love the blues, browns, and creams on the dark gray
background.  Most of the fabrics I used were from the line ...

Sew Delightful Baby Quilt from A Little Bit Biased

Hello!  I am trying to finish up some
blogging before the end of the year.  I have about
5 finished quilts that I want to share with you (so stay tuned).
Sometimes snapping nice pictures is the hardest part for me!

Today I have a little baby quilt I want to share.

This pattern is called Sew Delightful from my book,
Quilt the Rainbow.  The original quilt (the red one) is quite large
finishing at 90-1/2" x 90-1/2".

Sew Delightful is easy to make bigger or smaller, square or rectangular.
I made just 4 blocks to make the ...

Positive Vibes Quilt Pattern from A Little Bit Biased

 Today I want to introduce
my new quilt pattern, Positive Vibes

It's a confident beginner-friendly and fat quarter-friendly quilt pattern.

It comes with instructions for 2 different size quilts: baby and large throw.

I made this baby version in solid black and white
which I think is really striking!  It's nice that it's gender-neutral too
(for when I give it away...someday)!

I am all about large-scale prints for the back of quilts
and I'm especially obsessed with large-scale plaid prints at the moment!
This one is from the line Fleur Noire by Riley Blake.

Jen ...

Box Elder Trail Quilt Finish (Multi-Color Version) from A Little Bit Biased

 Hello!  I finally snapped
some pictures of the multi-color version
of my Box Elder Trail quilt.
For reference, here is the original version:

[ Photo courtesy of  Martingale Publishing]

It's the green quilt in my new book,
Quilt the Rainbow.

There are 10 projects in the book to help you whittle
down each color of your stash.  Nine are monochromatic
quilts and one (the cover quilt) is multi-color.

Box Elder Trail is a great scrap buster project!
The only fabric I specifically bought for this quilt was the floral
background - a Tilda fabric from the line Daiseyfield.
For the small ...

Bloom True Fabric Tour + a New Quilt Pattern! from A Little Bit Biased

When Poppie Cotton emailed me to see if I would like to be a part of a fabric tour
for their new line, Bloom True, I just had to say, "YES!"  I love this fabric line!

The line was designed by Terri Conrad and
all of the fabrics have a beautiful vintage feel!
Pretty florals, damasks, and geometric prints in
different shades of pink, mint, and golden yellows,
with little accents of green, black, and white.
So pretty!

I designed a fun flower block to go with the line.
I'm calling this pattern, Flower Farm!

The flower blocks feature ...

Another Boxy Quilt from A Little Bit Biased

I started this quilt on March 9th, 2022 and just finished
it yesterday, June 1st, 2022.  I somehow even talked my husband into going
into the hills by our house yesterday to help me get some photos.

This is my second Boxy quilt.  It's such a quick, easy pattern to make!
The first one I made was in really bright fabrics so I wanted
to see what a softer version would look like.
Click HERE to see the original version.

Plus I had these two Dover charm packs (by Brenda Riddle Designs for Moda)
in my stash that I ...

New Pattern - Always & Forever from A Little Bit Biased

I have a new Valentine's Day pattern I want to share with you today!
Introducing - Always & Forever!

This pattern was inspired by my postage stamp quilt, actually.
I received so much "love" on that quilt; so many people said they want
to make a postage stamp quilt someday.  So I thought, what better way to ease into
an intense project like a large postage stamp quilt with 1" squares than to
start with blocks with 1" pieces.  You can try this project out first to see how you like
working with 1" pieces.  They're really not too bad ...

Christmas Kaleidoscope from A Little Bit Biased

I'm back and today I'm sharing something I'm super excited about!
A new Christmas pattern!  It's called Christmas Kaleidoscope!

It started with this beautiful, scrappy bundle of fabrics.
The reds are mostly wovens and the greens are an assortment
of dark and light greens from different fabric lines.

The white fabric with red stars is from the fabric line, Stars and Stripes
by My Mind's Eye for Riley Blake.  That was my background fabric.

Green 4-Patches make up the Holly blocks.

I've paired them with some fun Star blocks to make a really pretty ...

Finished Golden Quilt from A Little Bit Biased

Look at me; two posts in one week!
I've got a lot of catching up to do here on the blog so I figured
I wouldn't waste any time posting about this other finished quilt -
my finished Golden quilt!

For this quilt, I used the fabric line Pumpkins and Blossoms by Fig Tree for Moda.
I did a scrappy background (which is different than the original quilt and
what the pattern states to do).  But who doesn't love a scrappy background!?!
I threw in a couple other low-volume fabrics from other fabric lines to give me enough ...

Plain and Simple (a new pattern) from A Little Bit Biased

Look at me, blogging twice in one week!  Who am I?!?
It's just that I have another new pattern to share with you!
I'd like to introduce you to Plain and Simple.

I had the opportunity to design a pattern with fabric from the
Daisy Mae fabric line by Poppie Cotton.  It was interesting designing
a pattern with just THREE fabrics!  That's so not like me!
But it was a fun challenge trying to come up with a pattern for them; I love the way it
it turned out and now I want to make Plain and ...
