A new year and a new pattern. 2023 is going to be a great year, I just know it. This is the Starry Dawn quilt.

Starry Dawn is a log cabin variation that incorporates a star block in the middle, where the chimney fire would be in a traditional log cabin block.

This is the Postcard quilt, one of my newest patterns. It's featured in the Island Batik catalog. This pattern is available in my Etsy shop. and in select quilt shops across the USA. It's my Island Batik Ambassador challenge quilt for March. For this challenge, Aurifil thread supplied each of the Ambassadors with a Color Builders thread collection. Each collection represents a different region of Italy.

I chose Sicily Yellow, partly because my family has roots in Sicily, and partly because I love these sunny bright yellows. The three threads in this collection are 2105, 2115, and 1135. They are all 50wt cotton.
