Shylyte's Home Quarter from Night Owl Quilting

Shylyte has been collecting bright polka dot fabrics for a little white now.  When she learned the first of  her friends was going to be a grandma she knew it was the perfect chance to use them in a project.  Shylyte used 12 Fat Quarters to make the version of the Highway 10 Designs Home Quarter pattern.

Shylyte selected a new pantograph in my collection called Cool Beans.  I love how it looks against all of the polka dots.  And who doesn't love a Fireside backing to show off the quilting and cuddle with?

The second quilt uses a fabric from Northcott's Canvas line for the background of the quilt.

Camo Lug Nuts from Night Owl Quilting

Gay made this fabulous version of the Highway 10 Designs Lug Nuts quilt for her son.  I like to refer to this quilt as "elegant camo"  as Gay used a mix of batiks, cottons and some real tree camouflage prints to make a unique quilt.

Gay selected the Mimosa pantograph which seems to blend into the prints just perfectly.

My husband is always a good sport when I need a second pair of hands to get some quilt photos.  He was motivated to try out a camo shot and it was kind of fun. The behind the scenes shot makes ...

Val's Stash Busting Home Quarter from Night Owl Quilting

Val made this cheerful queen sized version of our Highway 10 Designs Home Quarter pattern entirely from her stash.  As Home Quarter calls for Fat Quarters, Val cut some fat quarters from larger yardage, and used existing fat quarters and other scraps to build this beautiful quilt.

Val requested the Bora Bora pantograph and I think it looks great. A goldish brown thread was my choice to subtly live on the wide variety of colors and the border.

If you have some fat quarters and yardage in your stash just waiting for the perfect project, you could follow Val's ...
