It is Super Bowl Sunday, and I am looking forward to the big game. It seems like this year’s game has the makings of a close scoring contest, the best kind. I love a hard fought game with lots of back and forth lead changes. For me, I am leaning toward the Eagles, but either way, I just want a fun game. Are you cooking a ham today? It is a tradition in many households, and one that usually leaves a lot of leftovers. While having nice slices for sandwiches for a few days is nice, I usually want something else before we can finish it off.

To begin, cover 2 pounds of Great Northern beans with hot tap water in a large bowl.
Cover and soak overnight.
The beans will double in size.
Add the ham ...
