I've not just been resting on my laurels over the last six months. I've been Finishing. Some. Stuff. Off.

I have a feeling I've shown you this before, but it might not have been finished totally. It's totally bound, labelled stitched on, all good to go.

2019: The Year in Stitches from Life In Pieces

Just a few more hours left in 2019, in some parts of the world it's already 2020. I've already posted about my stitchy goals for 2020 to go along with Quilting JetGirl's Planning Party post. But I didn't include my 2019 accomplishments in that post. So before the calendar turns over to 2020, here's a summary of this year's accomplishments.

Playing With Color (More Catching Up!) from The Quilting Hermit

I've made several Mod Mosaic quilts (back between 2010-2012), though I apparently only blogged about one of them as a WIP. Still, it's a super fun block to do with scraps. Last Catch-Up...of 2018 from The Quilting Hermit

I managed to squeak out one last finished quilt before things got really hectic (understatement of the century) and then we moved across the country. Here's the last one I finished in Texas:

I am happily reading Boris Pasternak's Doctor Zhivago. It's slow going—I'm on page 113 of 560—but the story is getting more interesting as I advance. Pasternak won, but declined, the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1958 for this volume about Russian life beginning with the Bolshevik Revolution moving through World War I to 1930. Cherrywood Fabrics Van Gogh challenge - a finish! from Closet Quilter

I have really enjoyed seeing the last two challenges hosted by Cherrywood Fabrics. There was the Wicked challenge (see pics HERE) and last year, the Lion King challenge was phenomenal!

I’m alive! I don’t know how often I’ll realistically be able to post to the blog, but I have a few finishes to share that I hope to at least get posted. It turns out starting a new career is exhausting and overwhelming and a lot has happened over the last few months since moving to Orlando. Some fun, quick and easy finished projects! from Living4Quilting

Here are some projects that I've been working on last week. I finished this quilt and I really like it. I don't normally like square quilts but I like this one because of the beautiful flower fabric on it. It really looks like Fall to me.
