Just a few more hours left in 2019, in some parts of the world it's already 2020. I've already posted about my stitchy goals for 2020 to go along with Quilting JetGirl's Planning Party post. But I didn't include my 2019 accomplishments in that post. So before the calendar turns over to 2020, here's a summary of this year's accomplishments.
I've made several Mod Mosaic quilts (back between 2010-2012), though I apparently only blogged about one of them as a WIP. Still, it's a super fun block to do with scraps. When my quilt guild put out a call for quilts to auction at the quilt show in February of 2017 I made two mini mosaic quilts. The theme for the show was the color red, so I did both with my red scraps and did one with white spacers and one with black. I have really enjoyed seeing the last two challenges hosted by Cherrywood Fabrics. There was the Wicked challenge (see pics HERE) and last year, the Lion King challenge was phenomenal!
I’m alive! I don’t know how often I’ll realistically be able to post to the blog, but I have a few finishes to share that I hope to at least get posted. It turns out starting a new career is exhausting and overwhelming and a lot has happened over the last few months since moving to Orlando. But I’m slowly starting to get my sea legs and finding pockets of free-ish time.

Here are some projects that I've been working on last week. I finished this quilt and I really like it. I don't normally like square quilts but I like this one because of the beautiful flower fabric on it. It really looks like Fall to me.
