With 2024 starting, I thought it was a good idea to look into our next creative vacation.  Paul and I both wanted to get back to John C. Campbells Folk School in North Carolina so I started there.  Luckily,

The Idea Continues on Off the Wall Friday from Creations - Quilts, Art, Whatever by Nina-Marie Sayre



 Last week I explained how I create an idea from the very beginning.  This week I actually put it into practice.  With the Sacred Threads Art Show deadline 7 weeks away, I really need to get my act together.  Of course, after the year I've had, sometimes I forget where my act actually is so I can get it together.  Luckily I found some creativity I had squirred away for a rainy day and the design is well on its way.

Sunday Quilt Inspiration: Crosses from Fleur de Lis Quilts and Accessories

I hope you are having a blessed Sunday. As Catholics we are watching with growing concern the destruction of Catholic churches and statues around the country. What happened to freedom of religion in the United States? This should be a worry for everyone, since burning one church means people can burn others. The anarchy in our country...I don't know quite what to say. But let's move on to today's SQI. I used crosses in SQI in 2014, but it seems apropos to cover it again with perhaps a few new pins.
