Sunday Chat – Wildlife and Car Show from From My Carolina Home

Our driveway has become a feast for the critters, as ripening acorns are falling everywhere. The deer and turkeys love to come by and graze on the bounty. This gal came by on a rainy day, and I got her photo through the window.

A couple of days later, this pair came to graze. The little one still has its spots, but they are fading as it gets older.

Then a surprise. I was talking on the phone when this guy (gal?) came running from the woods onto the circle. It is a coyote. It looks so thin!

Sunday Chat – Wildlife, Book Reviews, Cooking and a New Quilt from From My Carolina Home

It has been busy week this week, with several gatherings for the holidays. It is the season for indulging, and Oliver is happy to have his sandwiches with chunky peanut butter. He’s put on his winter layer, and is quite chunky himself, LOL!

After the tea last week, I had several dozen cupcakes left over, so I brought them home and threw them in the freezer. When the pickleball group decided to do a potluck, I was all set! Not that I mind making food for friends. I do like to cook, but I know not everyone does.
