However, if this was turned into a real quilt I would use a quilting thread the same colour as the background to add texture, rather than teh lines seen in the illustration, so it wouldn’t look near as busy.

Gosh ..... we are almost mid-August and here is another Xmas quilt ..... my "Chevron Legacy".    

My hubby wants to display this one now instead of waiting until December.  Patience, my dear, patience and he will enjoy it even more later.  Our old shed at the cottage is the perfect backdrop for taking quilt photos.

 On Monday I presented my Reruns: Quilts Inspired by the Past lecture/slideshow to Common Threads Quilt Guild in Colorado. 

I love that we have many options now! The pandemic has forced us to be creative. They have a small group and I could see them all there! They had me on Zoom on a big screen. This is the first time I've presented in this way. Such a good idea for small groups that do not have the finances to fly speakers in to the area.

Christmas Stars is my first finish of the year! Yay! I had a couple other things to post about, but this needed to go on record before January was over and done with. Kinda late for a first finish {for me}, but what can I say? The binding work just didn't seem super exciting compared to some other options.
