It is so fun to design a project for the Fat Quarter Shop's Button Club. I like to have the buttons sit on my desk for awhile. That lets me find a fabric or a inspiration to start the pattern. The setup buttons I really love the Buffalo flat fabric and I was seeing the plaid as a spool of thread.

I thought it was worth repeating today my 'Let It Go!' Daily challenge. Because it's good to take a pause and be sure we are on the right track with things. Not getting to crazy. It's good to hit the reset button too and just breath a bit.

** Button Club FREE Pattern **
I've been designing patterns to use the Fat Quarter Shop's button club for several years now. I love doing small projects to showcase the buttons!
This month we have a darling box with little letters for FROST and it has a penguin, snowman, stars, moon and a polar bear button! It's a lot of fun for me to come up with a cute design to show off the buttons.
One of my most popular posts is this one on buttons. Interestingly, just yesterday (which was Sunday, I'm a day late posting) I found a place to exhibit the quilt mentioned in that post. Anyway I thought it serendipitous enough to pull another SQI from the idea. So, first a few buttons from this board....

My FREE wreath pattern is very quick to do! And I must say I gave myself a challenge with this one that I'll explain below. The Fat Quarter Shop's button club kit is called 'Jolly' so I used the letters on the sashing! Then decorated the wreath with the super cute buttons.
My Pattern Download is after my tutorial below along with the fabrics and supplies I used

It's not about perfection, though. It's about following the rules and the rules say belt loops are required.

One of my most popular SQI posts is from this one back in 2013. I thought that since it's a favorite, we could revisit the idea. So, the idea is the same; the pictures are updated. Let's start with creative ways to use buttons.
