What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

 This morning we were up and cleaning. I got laundry going and then cleaned out the cat litter. lol What fun! Once all the cleaning and gaming was done, it was time for our virtual meeting. 

I enjoy our virtual meeting and can't wait till I can sit and enjoy the meeting for as long as I can. 

 Today I was up and getting ready for my chores of getting everything ready for the museum. I had to take a quilt for Debbie as well. First stop was the post office to send labels to Barbara and then get coffee for Debbie and tea for me. lol 

Arrived at my usual time of 11:30 am. Then got the quilts out for 10 veterans. We did the panels today. Now we are out of panels so I need to get moving and finish a couple more. I kept hearing how pretty my quilts were that went today.

This morning started with me heading out the door. I went to the bank and told them how I needed my cash for the bowling alley. Then I had to head to moms. It was a funny visit. I arrived to find her just getting out of bed. While she was getting ready, I fixed her breakfast. Then after we got our tea, we headed into the computer room. I had to show her how to hook up for her telemed visit. Then we worked on her judging papers. After going through a page of writing I pulled the information ...

This morning I had to get the backing and batting cut for Debbie. Then I washed the fabric. Once that was done, I worked on the certificates. 

While I was doing that, Patrick was getting our league's bowling money figured out. That took a couple hours as well. 

Then I played games. 

Once we got the envelopes done for bowling, I then went downstairs to print the certificates. Debbie stopped by for the fabric and batting. I have my list of stuff to do tomorrow. I'm going to be busy again tomorrow.

 This morning I took advantage of sleeping in. Then I ended up doing a couple loads of laundry because Patrick has a pile for me again. I will do the sheets tomorrow. 

I played games for awhile and then I beaded for awhile. I didn't get a photo of my bead work today. I started working on the lavender angel. I didn't get very far. 

We went bowling and I was checking to see if we could do the roll offs next week. I couldn't believe Jeff wouldn't work with me! He didn't want us ...

I don't know why we say we are quilting when we are piecing quilts. Quilting is when we actually quilt a quilt. Go figure. I often wonder how we come up with names for things. Or who every figured out the beginning of language in the first place. 

The day started out with cleaning. Then I wanted to watch Mary Bergs cooking show. I like what she does. How she stays so skinny makes me wonder. But the food she fixes looks really good. She also has some good tips.

 Today I wanted to sleep but kept waking back up every few mins and finally decided to call it good. 

We cleaned house. I had the laundry going and cleaned the cat litter. Patrick worked on the rest of the bathrooms and then I vacuumed. I couldn't believe how much hair was picked up! Sophie is shedding again. I will have to make sure I vacuum a couple test more. 

Then it was time to have our virtual meeting. I worked on my class piece. Had to eat supper too because we had bowling tonight. 

 Today I actually slept till 10:30 am.! I didn't do much after I got up. Played games and waited for Patrick to get up. 

Then I cleaned some...not much. Tried starting laundry but realize as I type this that I still need to move clothes from the washer to the dry....shows how far I got!

Played games.....

Went to the bowling alley and Patrick couldn't bowl because of his feet being sore. With our partners out, we had to forfeit. Oh, well. We collected the money for the league and came home. 

Again...a Nothing ...

 This morning we changed clocks. We lost an hour, which had me loosing time all day long! I can't wait till they make it so we don't have to change the clock every 6 months!

I am still squirrel hunting! I got on a "whim" yesterday to make the earring - not that I didn't have other things to do!! So, this morning I started 2 more sets of rings. I wanted to do a black, white and silver earrings for my daughter. She said she was on the fence, so I will send her a photo of ...

 This morning I was busy with cleaning. Had to get the house vacuumed because I have been putting that off. It's interesting how that works. I have been out a lot this last week. This week looks a lot better. 

So, I cleaned and then played games. Patrick wasn't doing so good, so he went to take a nap. I decided then, to pull out the quilt I was binding. That game me time to listen to my book.

 We were up at 6:15 am. Patrick said we needed to be at the bowling alley at 7:30. So, we arrived at 7:30 to find out we didn't need to be there till about 8 or 8:30 as bowling didn't start till 9. We ended up sitting around. We were bowling Singles and Double in the 9 Pin No Tap tournament that was for the cancer center in Centralia and the Animal Shelter. I was game. We bowled really well. Patrick got an 848 with handicap. He came in 4th place.

 Today I was up early. Just woke with all the sun coming through the window. It had snowed last night. We may get more tomorrow. Patrick said this week we are supposed to get to freezing level. So far so good. 

I enjoyed the day by baking my bread. It turned out really good. I love that bread. I will have to do another loaf this week. I also started the starter that Teri gave me. I now have 2 starters. lol Lets see how far that goes. I hope this one is pretty good.

 Today we hurried up and went to Olympia. Patrick didn't blood work done. We went around 10 am. Then after that trip we stopped at Costco. Needed to get kitty litter. Prices are going up. It's still cheaper than getting it a Chewy. UGH We got some ice cream for lunch. Didn't finish it and brought it home. The lid was off and when I tried to put it in the freezer, I dropped Patrick's. Made a big mess!! I had to clean the rug, floor and walls. UGH UGH

 This morning it was nice to just relax. Patrick has been having some trouble with his foot lately. Since his medication it seems to take longer to heal. Now after bowling he has a spot by his nails. The meds are screwing with his system. I'm starting to worry a little. 

We watched TV and I worked on my UFO (Unfinished Objects). 

It's been awhile since I worked on this. AND now I know why!! I found I was off track when I finished this. So, I ended up putting in as much as I took out! The ...

 This morning Debbie stopped by and dropped off the 2 quilts she took for the VFW meeting. After she left I went downstairs and finished the quilt top. I received the threads for Connie that she ordered. Now I have to deliver them tomorrow. 

I finished this quilt top today. I won't count it as finished till the label is on it. Then I quickly worked on getting another top ready to put together. 

 This morning both Patrick and I slept in. Really didn't want to get up. I'm almost thinking he's sleeping in more because of the medications, but not going there. He's been having bumps on his face. Might be a reaction. Hard to say. 

I got laundry going, but didn't get far. I went downstairs and forgot. I worked on the quilt I had on the wall. 

I got the two rows attached to the panel. I'm okay with it. I think it's a little on the light side but the dark blue might ...

 Today was one of those days I didn't know what I wanted to do. When I got up, I worked on my puzzle. The frame is done and I have more added to the frame. It's going along nicely. Then after that, I worked on laundry and didn't go back to the puzzle. I was in "la la land" trying to decide what to do. 

So, I played games. Then I picked up my beading and got to work on the angel.

Today was working on laundry - that I keep forgetting about. At least it's coming down. 

Patrick was watching TV and I wasn't in the mood to watch what he was, so I listened to my book. As well as worked on the bind of Debbie's challenge quilt.

 This morning I was working on a few things before I decided to work on  my pastry. I've been setting the alarm every 30 mins to fold and roll out the pastry. This one is better than the last one I did. I'm not going to make them into anything yet because we didn't have the time today. I will work on it tomorrow night.

 This morning I was working on a few things before I went back to work on the ornament. I'm just thankful I worked on it as much as I did. Getting in time even when I wasn't feeling good!

Okay, first things first, I gained 5 lbs while on the cruise! Then I lost 4 lbs while I wasn't feeling well. Today I gained 3 of those lbs back. Can't win!!
