Stalled from Quilt in Progress

I wanted to keep up the pace I set for myself, but something didn’t work as I thought it would, and that killed the momentum. Let me show you.

The photo is of the Fallasburg Park covered bridge in Lowell, Michigan. I have been across this bridge, and also the other that I will include in the quilt. I loved the autumn colors on the trees, and hoped to recreate them well.

Barn Raising from Gray Barn Designs

Sandy and I have several group projects in process and one of them is a barn quilt for our brother in law. He grew up on a farm “down the road” a few miles from us. He and our sister live in Florida now so we thought we’d take him on a trip down memory lane with a quilt.

Barn Quilt in the Middle of Nowhere. from The Bearister Quilter

 My sister was recently on vacation in Montana and sent me a photo of a barn, along the road, stating that it needed a quilt. Looking at the photo, which is below, I agreed with her.
