Yes, I just put the last few stitches on the binding one day before I need this banner for my booth at the Westside Quilter's Quilt show.
Wildfire smoke has been so bad in my area that it is difficult to be outside much.
So that means I have been inside sewing a bit.
Hurray, I finished the last two letters I need for my quilt show booth banner. Which is good because I am the featured quilter at the Westside Quilters Guild show in Hillsboro Oregon the first weekend in October. If you are in the area, I hope you stop in. read moreOn Saturday, I spent the day sewing with a good friend. Instead of bringing a whole bag with lots of sewing options, I brought ONE project.
The project I took were my scrappy paper-pieced letters.
Hurray for me!
I have been dragging my feet getting the paper pieced letter S done that I needed last month in the color pink. Well look what I finally finished this week!
I added them to my design wall with all the other completed blocks ...

But I sure do not feel like I have much to show for it!
I did sew this little 4" tall block. I think it took me most of the week!
I am looking forward to April's RSC color to see what letters I get to sew next.
The sunny days have turned rainy here so I was able to spend some time in my sewing room.
I love this project more with every month's worth of blocks added.
I also finished two more of my Bloom blocks. I still have four more yellow ones to make for the quilt design I am making. Hopefully I can get to them next week - they are all cut, I just need to sew them up.

I did sew quite a bit this week but it was on projects that I will share probably later this week. Hopefully this week I will get my RSC blocks all cut out so I can finish them up. The end of the month seems to be coming up fast!
