Happy Galentines Day! from From My Carolina Home

Did you know that yesterday, February 13, was Galentines Day? It is a made-up holiday started by the TV show Parks and Recreation in 2010. It has grown in our culture over the years as a day to celebrate friendships between women. I have two very dear friends who have helped me get through some stressful times this past year. Five Months?! from Ravelly1

Greetings everyone!
I can't believe that it's been five months since I've posted. Let's just say life has really gotten in the way. Let me list the things that have happened:

  1. I'm in the same place but in a new home.
  2. I've lost my mojo for sewing "anything" at this point.
  3. Getting the grounds around the new house have been & remains a slight nightmare.
  4. Church and community have desperately needed my attention.
  5. My mom has fallen ill and is now living with me permanently. 
  6. Thanksgiving and Christmas planning and feasting.

Whew!!
