My Medallion Too 7, 8 from Virtual Quilter

Looks old fashioned, and I like it.

Different colours, still old fashioned, but I like this one better even if it looks as if it is missing the binding.

Nice layout, but I think I would much rather have an applique in the large centre.

Brooksea at Christmas 4, 5,6 from Virtual Quilter

It is looking a bit like Christmas!

Nothing like red, white and green to bring out the Christmas spirit for me.

I thought the first one was my favourite for today, but maybe it is the last one.

EQ Dozen + Quilting 15, 16 from Virtual Quilter

Love the first design. Only thing missing is a quilting design for the border.

No border quilting again, but I like the rest of the design.

EQ Dozen Again 10, 11, 12 from Virtual Quilter

Simple setting for 9 applique blocks, leaving room for quilting.

More applique, but still a nice setting for them.

I like the idea of using simple pieced blocks between applique blocks … much more interesting than using sashing. The simplest combination would be simply alternating a variety of appliques with just one pieced block design.

Log Applique Album 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 from Virtual Quilter

Found an old project file which had few designs by comparison to most, and those that were there needed attention, so saved five for today, then retired the project.

I like the challenge of trying to find suitable applique to use with, and on, Log Cabin blocks, and intend trying different colours, and different appliques in the future.

Love the one above … one of the reasons I had to use this project file one more time.

I love the last … the one which made me want to share a handful of the last 8 designs ...
