I confess to always being a bit anxious on December 31st. For as long as I can remember in my adult years it has always meant fiscal year end deadlines and making sure all those journal entries and the final bank deposit for the year are done and posted before the GL does its thing and empties out all the net income to retained earnings. read moreAll that's left is the binding. That may have to wait until next year. I'm so happy I used the fan quilting motif. I think it is perfect for this quilt.
I finished the quilt top with a 3" wide border. Now to get it quilted.

I loaded it on the frame.
And started quilting. I decided to use a traditional pattern. This is Kristin's Easy Baptist Fan from Urban Elementz. I didn't have a fan design I really like in my collection so I bought this one for this quilt. I'm sure I will use it again so it was a worthy investment.
I've finished my charming quilt and have cut the binding and borders to finish it.
This set of scrappy bricks is ready to be sewn into rows.
