I like the second design … also an interesting collection of blocks, though I think I would applique the four bow blocks.

read moreI have always been a little intrigued by the royalty of the England and Queen Victoria. It’s so amazing how she came to be the mother or grandmother of so many leaders of countries in Europe. That often leads me to the Romanov family leaders of Russia and of course to Anastacia. So…when I saw …

One of my favorite cooking YouTube channels is Rachel Cooks With Love, though most of the time I call it “Rachel Loves to Cook”. I’ve made so many of her recipes and they are all delicious. I told Vince at dinner . . if I could cook only one ethnic food forever, it would be...

It has saved me a few times because I have extras. Extra bobbins, needles, thread, and random things. Today we get to take a look inside.
I am pretty lucky to have a local quilt group that I can attend – not only that, but they meet a few times per month for a few hours of sewing.

I know I do not like conflict, but I don’t know anyone who really loves it. Although I’m sure they are out there. I was pretty explosive as a teenager, but that did not serve me well. I tend to pull back and think before I speak, but then, many times, I “get over” whatever it was. My ...

While I believe that this doctor will want to do surgery, I have misgivings about that. My last surgery, a redo on my left thumb, only took 14 minutes according to the post-op report but I still came close to stroking out. This despite telling all and sundry that I didn't react well to anesthesia and that the problem seemed to get more dire the more surgeries I had.

One is a scrappy star quilt and one is a square in a square. And then I bought the latest issue of Quilter's World and a third quilt block was started. There are so many very nice quilts in this issue that I think I'll have a lot of ideas

Good morning, my friends. We had a leisurely day yesterday. I spent some time reading email and playing my word games. After breakfast, I spent some time on my slow-stitching. I finished stitching the tail-end of the cat.
